Richard Deaton & Amanda Yaryan Deaton


Gila House Hotel and Gallery 400 owner Richard Deaton is a military vet, having served for six years in the Navy, where he qualified as a Navy Scuba Diver and a Submarine Sonar Technician. After completing extensive renovations, Gila House Hotel and Gallery 400 opened it's doors in October of 2005. Richard comes to Silver City from Twin Falls, Idaho.

Amanda Yaryan Deaton is a graphic designer and artist. Along with running the gallery and hotel she also has a web design company. Amanda comes to Silver City from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Packo & Lily


Packo & Lily head up our hospitality committee. Though they no longer live on the premises (since the birth of sweet Miss Vanna) they are here from time to time to greet guest and love on their favorite little person, Miss Vanna. Packo is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix and Lily is a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff).
